A Brief History of
Ahmedbad Farmer's Market
Ahmedabad Farmers' Market was incepted and born through the combined efforts of 3 passionate Amdavadis - Nupur Goenka, Monisha Desai and Harshika Patel, in 2018. Far from the chaotic urban milieu amidst the heart of nature was organized the first market at Green Grids Farm.
The journey sprang in July 2018 with 35 participants/vendors, 600 visitors and a fundamental thought build a platform where local farmers, producers, crafters, young chefs and artisans can come together to provide a variety of fresh produce and related products directly to our visitors. The journey which started with a collaborative effort is now a community who believes in the fact that - WHAT WE EAT, MATTERS!
